Next event is Sept 25-27 at the camp for firewood cutting weekend. Gates open Friday 2 PM, firewood cutting, hauling, splitting, stacking will be Saturday. Our goal is to fill the sheds that were built for future camp events. Needed; chainsaws, mauls, hydraulic splitters, ATVs/trailers/trucks to haul wood, and many hands to make the work light. There will be a camp fireside worship Sunday morning, and weather permitting we can kayak before departing midday Sunday. Breakfast provided 7 AM Saturday morning. Portajons will be onsite. Please text 260.610.6500 with what you can provide or prefer to do so we can plan tasks and the Saturday breakfast.
Service opportunity: IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) will be partnering with Riverbend Men's Camp Sept 21-26 to build sheds for flood victims in Midland, MI. Anyone interested in helping one or all of those days, please contact Joe at 513.515.7420 for details.
